Bradley Reunion

We had our Bradley class reunion last week. Unfortunately one couple wasn't able to attend but it was nice to see all the couples we spent 10 weeks with and to meet their little ones.
Besides that, Alex is growing and growing. He's discovering his hands which much taste good because he likes to suck on them. He is still very fussy but I'm sure that will fade with time. John and I had our first outing without Alex yesterday and he had his first babysitter (my parents).

Random photos

Thanksgiving

We went to my uncle Mikes today for Thanksgiving. Alex must not understand the meaning of the day because he screamed and cried the whole time we were there. This photo was taken at home when he was being a little angel.

Sleep

Believe it or not, Alex is sleeping through the night. No, it doesn't happen every night but it does happen more times than not. I figured since we've struggled with weight gain/eating issues we have bragging rights...

So much is changing...

Well Alex is just getting bigger and bigger. We're getting smiles out of him (I think daddy got the first one though), he's soaking in everything that is going on around him and he's going on so many outings. He's made quite a few friends and he's still sleeping so well. He's such a happy little man. We love him so much.

Alex's bedroom

John has taken total interest in decorating Alex's bedroom, hopefully he'll be as big of sports fan as his daddy is.

Neighbors

Our neighbors have a daughter named Ava. She is about 2 and a half and the cutest little girl ever! Her and her mommy came over the other night to see "baby Alex." She was so excited to get to hold him.

First IU basketball game

Go IU!

Always moving

He doesn't really get this yet

What Alex does best

Alex got to watch his first IU basketball game last night at Grandma and Grandpa's. We had him all dressed in his IU onesie (which he is pretty much too long for) and sure enough, he got it all wet. We were really worried that that may be an omen for things to come but IU pulled through and won! Not much else has been going on in Alex world but he is giving daddy smiles left and right. I have been slacking on the photos and have now been keeping my camera out of my diaper bag and next to me so I'll take more.

Daddy loves you

Playdate

Alex and I went to meet my girlfriend Kelly and her son (who is about a little over a week older than Alex) Graham. I really hope Alex wasn't too bad of an influence on Graham seeing that he was a screaming the whole time we were there.

Wakey wakey

Alex loves to lay on the floor when he first wakes up (and isn't too hungry....)

Busy weekend

Uncle Todd and Aunt Kristen

Kim

Mac and Alex

Uncle John and little chicken, Mal

Alex had so much going on last weekend. We had Halloween with lots of trick or treaters come to our house on Friday night. Mom and Dad enjoyed seeing all the kiddies but Alex really wasn't interested. Cousin Mallory came over to trick or treat in the neighborhood but was scared of all the costumes with masks so she decided to stay inside. On Saturday night Alex got to meet a lot of new family friends. Sunday Alex was baptized and he was such a good boy, not a peep. The whole family was there to see him and as proud of him as we were. It was so neat to have Alex baptized by the minister who married us, Mac. Our doula, Kim, came over Sunday afternoon to go over the birth with us. She is amazing, she had documented everything and I kind of got to re-live the day Alex was born.

Oh how time flies

It was a month ago today that Alex was born. I can't believe it, I look back and it seems so fast yet so slow. It hasn't even been that long yet I can't imagine life without him and don't really remember what life was like before him. He's such an amazing blessing and the cutest little monkey ever!

Mal and Alex

My niece, Mallory, is so fascinated with "bebe" being around and is constantly wanting to see him but when it comes to getting close to him she has no interest. This is the closest we could get Mal to Alex (not very.....)
