Pool

It seems that Alex is having the time of his life. He got into the pool for the first time and really liked it. I don't know what it is about Florida but Alex has been taking the best naps. Night time is rough though, he's ended up in bed with us every night.

Beach

After a LONG drive in the car, the first thing we did when we got the Englewood was go straight to the beach for Alex to see the sand and the ocean. He seemed to think it was pretty fun. More to come later.

Get-togethers

Mallory was so excited to see Alex that she got up from her nap just to play with him. From this photo you can tell how tired she is, she looks so cute.

Brittany and her girls came to Indy to visit last week. Alex and Avery (the one closest to him) really hit it off.
Alex and Graham got to play together again. They were both sporting green for St. Patty's Day.

5 months

I can't believe it but Alex turned 5-months yesterday, he is getting to be such a big boy. We used to have everyone telling us how little he was but these days everyone is saying the opposite. While I was in my breastfeeding support group I met a friend who has a little one about 6 weeks older than Alex. Back when Alex was about a month old, her son weighed about 4 pounds more than Alex. These days Alex weighs only a few ounces less...

Alex's new thing is that he cries everytime we leave the room and he really only seems to prefer John and myself. I know that nothing is really ever permanent with a baby so I'm sure he'll outgrow this. Besides that Alex is just doing typical baby things; laughing, rolling over, drooling, etc.
