Toys

I sometimes wonder why we even buy toys for Alex. He has so many of them yet his two favorite things to play with are tupperware and Tank. Since seeing Alex with a piece of tupperware in his hand isn't that fun here are some photos of Alex playing with Tank.

Pat the doggie.

Yes, that is Tank's head between Alex's legs.

He'd ride Tank if he could.

Oh, and he likes to play with this orange roof to a little barn he has.

First snow

Since Alex was really too little to enjoy the snow we got last year we (more me) were eager to get him out in it this year. No need to be so eager, he really wasn't too interested. It was like he didn't know how to walk again, when I put him in the snow he just stood there.

He looks like Randy from 'The Christmas Story.'

On his sled.

Watching the snow fall.

Christmas 2009

Christmas this year was very different than I've ever had before, it was just our family of 3. We were supposed to get together with my family but my Mom came down with the flu on Christmas Eve so we opted to stay home. We went to the children's Christmas Eve service with my Dad and niece but weren't able to get any photos of the 3 of us together.

Alex clearly wants to be held and have his photo taken.

He's not so antsy to get down here.

Alex in his Christmas suit (I had to do my best of editing this one, I didn't figure John would want a photo of him putting on his socks).

Family of 3

We had some family photos taken a little after Alex turned 1. Our photographer happens to be a family friend of John's. She did a great job and came with a bag full of goodies to keep Alex occupied. As you can tell, we were blessed to have such a beautiful day!
