Sleeping baby

There's the saying, "a sleeping baby is a good baby" but I like the saying, "there's nothing as sweet as a sleeping baby" better. Here's how precious Alex is when he's sleeping.

Yes, he looks like he's being tortured in a straight jacket in this photo but he loves this. We were told to try out a thing called the Miracle Blanket when we had quite a few sleepless nights after he was born and this really does work miracles!

John called me into our room and told me to bring my camera, he thought this was so cute.

As I was taking this photo Tank decided to shake which scared Alex at the exact moment I was snapping away.

This was what I was trying to get...

First Christmas

Besides the cold that Alex has we survived our first family Christmas. We had such a good time with him. We went to my parents in the morning to celebrate with my side of the family. It was so much fun watching Mallory open gifts, she was so excited that she helped Alex open his too. After that we went to Todd's parents to celebrate with John's family. Overall, Alex was in a good mood and we're excited for Christmas' to come.

A happier baby

Alex has become a happier baby, it seems that the fussiness has subsided. He is changing so much and taking in everything around him. I could watch him all day long. We are getting smiles from him left and right and he just loves to hear himself talk. Even though Alex won't remember, John and I are so excited to wake up Christmas morning and have our first family Christmas with our boys (Tankster included).

All cozy

Alex had his second playdate with his buddy Graham. Alex had a much better time this time around. His friend was dressed in the cutest Christmas outfit.

Mr. Man

I love when Alex is in this mood. He was pretty happy all day today! He's getting so big (look at the chubby face).

Santa

Over the weekend we went with my parents and sister to see Santa. Alex was the youngest baby there and one of the few who wasn't scared of him.

Also, Linda came in town to visit and to babysit the stinker.

Little talker

2 months old today!

It's so crazy to think that 2 months ago today Alex was brought into our world. I can't tell if it seems just like yesterday or if it was many moons ago. All I know is that we are crazy about our little man. Alex decided to celebrate his 2 months by waking up at 3 AM to eat and not wanting to go back to sleep until 2 hours later. We didn't mind because he was in such a good mood.

We do have a fussy baby on our hands. I gave the peditrician a call since he cries ALL THE TIME and they told me that it's probably just his temperment (lucky us...) because they ruled out any reflux or dairy issues. I guess we'll just have to wait for him to outgrow it.
