Fishers Summer Concert

We went with Chris and Shannon to the Fishers Summer Concert on Tuesday. We'd never been and didn't realize what we were missing out on - a free event with ice cream! It was a great time and we can't wait to be able to go some Tuesdays next summer.

Babysitting

Earlier this week we babysat for one of Alex's friends, Anna. John and I both watched her because we weren't sure how it was going to be with two little ones. Let me just tell you, Anna is the easiest little baby! She was so good and barely made a peep. They had fun playing together.

Past few weeks

We've been kind of busy lately so I've been bad about uploading photos (or taking them for that matter). We did go to Louisville over the weekend with the Scott's so Alex had fun spending time with Anna.
It's hard to get babies to pose for the camera...

Alex and Daddy, I can't believe Alex was in long pants and a hoodie in July.

Sitting in the rocking chair at Grandma and Grandpa's. Luckly Mallory wasn't there to see him in "her chair."

Can I be any cuter?

Chasing around a 9-month-old

Alex is a busy little boy at 9-months (today)! The times of putting him on the ground with toys so that we could get some things done are long gone. He is on the moving and we are constantly chasing him and moving him away from the things he shouldn't be playing with (as I just got up to move him again).
Hard to tell I know but this is Alex's first tooth.

Alex playing with Tank's crate, can it really taste that good...

Another past time for Alex, trying to chase Tank's tail (he managed to snag it this time without Tank getting up and chasing it himself)

9-months-old today!

Lately

Alex is up to the usual baby stuff. He's gotten his first tooth, I've tried to get a photo of it but he seems to stick his tongue out everytime. He's also getting the crawling down a little better, he gets a few feet on hands and knees and then falls to the army crawl again. The noises coming from Alex change everyday, he loves to talk!

Alex and Graham had fun on their playdate, they finally can interact more.

8 months

Hi, I'm 8-months-old today

We live close to Mt. Comfort Airport so we got a view of the Air Show from our backyard. Alex thought it was so fun to watch The Blue Angels.

We met Grandma, cousin Mallory and aunt Melissa at the mall for a playdate.

At St. Simon festival. Although he doesn't look too happy in this photo, Alex smiled and smiled and smiled once we got moving.

A new game Alex likes to play.

Sippy cups aren't for beginners

Alex feels like such a big boy standing on his own.

Like Mommy, Alex isn't much of a cuddler but it's great when he is.

We've been trying and trying to get Alex used to a sippy cup and end up with the same results...

Although I hand him the cup so he can grasp it with both hands, one handle always ends up in his mouth.

"Will the water come out this end?"

"Finally the right part, but I'd rather chew on it."

As usual, I give up and end up helping him.

Alex will get these great, from the bottom of the belly laughs going and as I get my camera all ready, he stops. Here's what I could get though.
